ARCTIC CAT

The shelter weighed in at 9,500 pounds and was 15 feet long. Our client had to have the shelter moved and set in place, right away.

Our client had to have the shelter moved and set in place, right away. The weather and road conditions were our biggest challenges. The road was very rough to begin with and then the snow presented a whole new challenge. With the help of a local man and his dozers, they cleared a path for us to the top of the mountain. A conventional truck and trailer would not make it without high centering. So the bobtail was loaded with the building and safely hauled down to be trans-loaded onto the conventional transport. Temperatures were from 1 degree to finally 42 degrees. The 2 dozers did an excellent job of clearing the road for us and spent 3 separate days clearing for our arrival. The crane we used the Terex T340-1XL, now dubbed the Arctic Cat.
